WQFX-1130 AM is a local gospel radio station, which covers
the Gulfport/Biloxi areas. Serving the Mississippi Gulf Coast for over 15 years, WQFX is the ONLY station in this market that
reaches the community with traditional and contemporary gospel music.
Power Gospel has over 50 Black churches represented
in our programming and our outreach is the most effective method of reaching the black community.
We are blessed to be able to have in our studios, the best in the ever-growing genre of gospel music.
Our play list includes everything from traditional choirs (The Mississippi Mass Choir, The Thompson Community Choir) to contemporary
choirs (James Hall and Worship and Praise, The Whitfield Company);
from quartets ( The Jackson Southernaires, The Williams Sisters) to urban contemporary groups (Kirk Franklin
and the Family, Fred Hammond and Radical for Christ); from male and female soloists (Yolanda Adams, Daryl Coley, Dorothy Norwood,
Rev. Cleophus Robinson) to beautiful instrumental music and gospel jazz (Ben Tankard, Angella Christie).

The goal of Power Gospel-WQFX is first and foremost, to continue
to spread God’s message of love and peace to our listening audience. Equally important is our desire to be an effective
instrument in the greater development of the Christian community here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

we desire to see the revenue of our advertisers increase. We pledge to do all that we can to cause your business to succeed.
